Scala is ready for America
DM REVIEW Scala, the girls choir from Aarschot stands at a turning point in its career. A few months ago the choir featured in the trailer of ‘The Social Network’. Since then the interest for the choir has rocketed and Stijn & Steven Kolacny, the creative tandem behind Scala, have been signed by the big Warner Bros.
They are expected in the US for a series of concerts, but before taking off Scala had to perform in Louvain for the première of its new tour in Belgium.

Girl choir becomes mature
SCALA OFF TO THE STATES
LEOPOLDSBURG - With ‘Circle’ Scala often reaches a high professional level. This new show is the one they are going to tour with in the USA in April.
After ten years of intense search, of trial and error, of happy moments and hopeless tinkering, Scala seems to have reached the true moment. Its new show ‘Circle’ has been produced for the US tour in April. The whole looks very professional. The choir girls’ dresses are classy, the choreography is elaborate, light and sound reach above Flander’s average, the visuals and movies are well made and the target audience has been accurately defined.

'Social Network' Trailer Lands Record Deal for Scala & Kolacny Brothers
by Jason Lipshutz, N.Y.
The two-minute trailer for David Fincher's "The Social Network" features shots of alcohol-filled college parties, scantily clad teenage girls and Justin Timberlake -- seemingly the perfect recipe for a light teen comedy. Yet as a cover of Radiohead's "Creep" plays in the background -performed by a women's choir with minimal instrumentation - the preview takes on a haunting feeling that complements the drama's profile of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg.
